Welcome to Glauck. These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of our products, apps, and services (collectively, the “Service”). We designed this page to be easy to read: expand any section below for details.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Glauck, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Glauck provides tools to capture audio, transcribe, summarize, and organize educational content. Features may evolve over time. Certain capabilities may depend on third‑party providers and network availability.

3. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction (or have verified consent) to create an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

Do not misuse the Service. No unlawful, infringing, harassing, deceptive, or harmful activities; no attempts to bypass security; no scraping beyond permitted APIs; no reverse engineering except where allowed by law.

5. User Content & Recordings

You retain rights to content you upload or generate. You grant Glauck a limited license to process your content solely to provide and improve the Service, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

Glauck, including logos, product design, software, and documentation, is protected by IP laws. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.

7. Subscriptions & Billing (Paddle)

Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for Glauck in eligible jurisdictions. Taxes (e.g., VAT/GST) are calculated and collected by Paddle where required by law, and invoices/receipts are issued accordingly.

  • Plans & Pricing. Paid plans renew automatically unless canceled. Current prices are displayed at checkout; taxes may apply. If we change plan pricing, we will provide prior notice where required.
  • Free & Trials. If a free tier or trial is offered, usage limits and trial duration are stated at signup. After a trial ends, the subscription renews at the then‑current price unless canceled before renewal.
  • Renewal & Cancellation. You can cancel at any time via the billing portal link in your account or via the Paddle receipt/manage‑subscription link. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds. Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy and applicable consumer laws. To request a refund, use the Paddle “View order” link in your receipt or contact support@glauck.com.
  • Currency & Taxes. Charges may appear in a local currency selected by Paddle. Any taxes (VAT/GST/sales tax) are shown at checkout and on receipts.
  • Chargebacks & Disputes. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us or Paddle promptly. Unresolved disputes may result in suspension.
  • Compliance. You represent that you are not on any restricted/denied parties list and are not subject to sanctions that would prohibit your use of the Service.

Note: Paddle’s terms and privacy policy apply to payments in addition to these Terms.

8. Third‑Party Services

The Service may integrate third‑party models, storage, or infrastructure. Their terms and privacy practices apply in addition to ours.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, accuracy of outputs, or fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glauck will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Glauck harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time; certain provisions survive termination.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of your habitual residence, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in‑app or by email. Continued use after changes becomes effective constitutes acceptance.
